Song lyrics part 1. I have written something like two hundred song lyrics from 1990 to approx 2010, and i got an idea to put some of them here that i like the most. This one is unrecorded and uncomposed. On my last band i played country rock, but many of these lyrics are all over the place stylewise. This lyric could work on a Children of Bodom-style metal song or something. Something like that. This lyric describes Finland, basically. It is kind of modernized story of Lalli.

A man came over the sea, with a bible in his hand
To settle down on this place, where his fathers own a land
He was raised in catholic way, to praise humanity and guilt
Just to see all his love stumbled, to the drain among the filth
Gothic town, gothic town. Ain't looking for a clown
Gothic town, gothic town. Shoot the bats hanging down
So man went for a walk, to see crosses upside down
People with black eye rings, and the place Pope got drowned
It did not take him long, to notice he was in a wrong place
That is all we know about him, he disappeared without a trace
Gothic town, gothic town. Ain't looking for a clown
Gothig town, gothic town. Shoot the bats hanging down
Here cobblestones cling harder, than any of man known sins
Native gods fight the souls, but can't beat the gothic kings
The God is painted black, and hanged on a streetlight
So that people do not se him, shouting in the night
Gothic town, gothic town. Ain't looking for a clown
Gothic town, gothic town. Shoot the bats hanging down
